Quincy McAdoo

Over this past year there has been much optimism about all over sporting programs. Most notably in basketball and baseball. While our football program has struggled over the past few years, last season seemed to be a step in the right direction. This year has an even bigger chance to compete as a top-tier team in the NCAA especially with the newest addition of 4-star wide receiver Quincy McAdoo.

According to Pig Trail Nation https://www.nwahomepage.com/news/smalltown-to-statewide-story-behind-razorbacks-commit-quincey-mcadoo.  McAdoo is the fourth highest rated prospect in the state of Arkansas and shows serious potential. Coming from a small 2A high school in Clarendon, McAdoo could be the most determined prospect in this class. Standing at 6’2 and weighing 175lbs along with his skill set and ability to find the ball in the air is quite tremendous.

McAdoo first committed to Florida State University. However, he always wanted to be a razorback growing up. When it was time to officially decide, Quincy realized he wanted to just stay home instead of traveling all the way to Florida so that’s exactly what he did. The razorback community is very happy of this move.

Quincy McAdoo has real NFL potential and can make plays over any other top-ranked recruits in the country. Although, McAdoo has gone through many obstacles before getting to this point. Tragically, when he was in high school, he lost two very close relatives. One being his younger brother who passed in a hit and run car wreck at the age of four years old. The other being a close cousin who was murdered in a shooting while attending a high school in Little Rock.

This story would have to classify as VO/SOT because it plays video with a voice-over and then resumes back to the reporter talking.
