ABC:  Interview with Dr. Fauci

            George Stephanopoulos interviewed Dr. Fauci about the problems with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  Dr. Fauci is one of the main leaders who talks about Covid-19 and the vaccines.  He was asked about whether pausing the J&J vaccine would cause problems.  The said that he did not think so and that people would think that they were being careful with vaccines.  

            George then asked him about wearing masks outside once everyone is vaccinated.  He said he thought some new information from the CDC would be coming soon and that it would be good news.  He seemed to be saying that maybe masks outside will not be needed anymore.    

George then played a clip from a politician who said that not everyone needs to get vaccinated.  Dr. Fauci told him that he didn’t think the politician made any sense.  But, he also said he thought that the more people that get vaccinated, the closer the country gets to herd immunity.              

The news story seemed mostly positive about progress on the vaccines.  Dr. Fauci made many strong and supportive comments about the safety of the vaccines which will be good news to anyone who saw this news clip.  After over a year, it looks like the deadly pandemic may finally be coming to an end.  https://wordpress.com/post/philtomkent.net/71
