AP Style Book and PR
AP writing is definitely different from MLA, which is what I’ve been used to in my writing classes so far. From what we have learned so far, it seems like the style book is a lot like APA writing. The way titles and quotations are done. I also didn’t realize that numbers 10 and higher are written with numerals unless they are the first word of a sentence. Since the AP Style Book is for PR, it makes sense that journalists would have to know it really well. The grammatical aspects and sentence structures seem more rigid and strict than other types of writing.
